Annunciator is an array of indicator lights and associated circuitry designed to secure a operating personnel’s or user’s attention by blinking the indicator lights, when the connected process changes to another state. They acts as a central indicator of status of an equipment or systems in industrial process, buildings or installations like Control and Relay Panels, Instrumentation Panels, Signalling Panels etc. It may also display warnings or cautions that are not necessarily indicative of a problem. Multiple backlit windows are provided, each engraved with the name of a process enabling proper distinguishing of the appeared alarm to the user. Thus activated window will continue to blink giving visual indication till the user acknowledge the process change. The lights are usually accompanied with a test switch, which when pressed illuminates all the lights to confirm they are in working order.
