2x25kV SECTIONING POST PROTECTION CONTROL & RELAY PANEL

ALIND make Control & Relay(C&R) panel comes in vertical, self- supporting, closed type steel construction. It is developed in such a way that optimum utilization of space on front, rear and side panels is made and all important hard ware is on the front side panel. The inside of panel can be accessed from rear side of panel and for this, hinged type doors with locking arrangement is provided. Lifting hooks are provided on the panel for loading of panel for transportation. Drawings of dimension details, circuits, terminals details, design and layout of equipment on the panels are provided along with the panel. The panel is fabricated from steel sheet of thickness greater than 3.0 mm for front, rear, doors and base panels, and greater than 2.0mm for side, roof and door panels. The bottom portion of the panel is provided with detachable type steel sheet covers with suitable cable glands to facilitate entries of control cable from trenches to control panel. The panel is suitable for erection flush with the concrete floor by evenly spaced grouting bolts projecting through the base channels of its frame. The steel sheet as well as other steel works are properly treated and then an under coat suitable to serve as base and binder for the finishing coat is applied. To avoid rusting of the panels during service, pre-treatment through seven-tank process is done prior to painting. There is provision for power down mode for the system when the substation, where panel is placed is unmanned. In this case all the protection elements will function as usual but the alarm, annunciation/display and local acknowledgement features will remain out of circuit till the system is activated again. A separate front accessible ON/OFF switch is provided for this purpose.
