SWITCH BOARD CABINETS FOR HOG COMPLIANT LSLRD COACHES

Indian Railways have decided to manufacture HOG (Head On Generation) compliant LSLRD (Second Class Cum Luggage & Brake Van with compartment for Divyangjan) coaches to replace one of the power car from HOG Loco hauled trains. The panel used in such coaches are Switch Board Cabinets for HOG Compliant LSLRD Coaches. The panel houses all the equipment and switchgear for the control of two HOG supplies, distribution of select supplies to the feeders along with metering, protection switchgear like HOG earth leakage relay, HOG overload relay, interlocking of smoke detection system with HOG supply, etc. as required for the system status to be read by the operator for smooth functioning of the power supply system.
